If you’re sailing with Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, or Regent Seven Seas starting this summer, you’ll see a big improvement in internet speed. Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, the parent company for the three lines, announced today that to meet growing expectations from cruisers, they will improve high speed internet across all 23 ships in the fleets. The company has put millions of dollars in upgrades to quadruple their current bandwidth and to roll out performance-boosting technology, including new satellite dishes and a faster Wi-Fi network through SpeedNet. The changes will take effect starting in July.
