Fisherman’s Wharf: This neighborhood sits on the water of the Inner Harbour and has about 100 houseboats. Explore on foot over a labyrinthine network of finger docks or rent a kayak and paddle around.

Royal BC Museum: The largest museum in the province is a great spot to learn about regional history through revolving displays, like an interactive exhibit that chronicles some of B.C.’s indigenous languages.
On the Run: Victoria is the fittest city in the country (per the Canadian government) and you’ll see people biking, running, and kayaking all over town. It also means there are plenty of opportunities to try these activities yourself.

Adventure Travelers: Outdoor thrill-seekers will feel right at home spending the afternoon kayaking across the Inner Harbour or bicycling the Galloping Goose Trail.
Foodies: The restaurant scene is deliciously varied and deeply connected to local growers. Locals swear by the fish fry at Red Fish, Blue Fish on the pier and dim sum from Don Mee Seafood Restaurant in Chinatown.
