The 2,124-passenger Carnival Pride is Carnival Cruise Line’s only Spirit-class ship to have a whole host of upgrades. Perhaps the most popular of all? Food Network star Guy Fieri’s famed lunch spot, Guy’s Burger Joint, where you can pile toppings on your freshly grilled burger. The Seaside Theatre plays hit movies on deck, and BlueIguana Cantina, where you can add salsa from a bar of choices to your burritos and tacos, also set the ship apart. And if that’s not enough, the EA Sports Bar has a whopping 16 monitors, so you don’t have to miss a game while at sea. When the weather’s warm, cool off in the WaterWorks aqua park where you can brave a daring ride down the fastest and steepest waterslide at sea. Or take a dip in one of the ship’s three pools, including one located in the adults-only Serenity retreat.

What We Love

Playlist Productions: Carnival Pride keeps its song-and-dance revues fresh by offering plenty of variety. Catch “80s Pop to the Max,” “Heart of Soul,” “Getaway Island,” and “88 Keys: The Rock and Roll Piano Show” when they’re available in the Taj Mahal main show lounge. They're all big, boisterous numbers.

Retractable Roof: The dome over the Venus Pool on the Lido Deck opens and closes, giving the crew — and passengers — options in inclement weather.

Best Known For

Sensible Layout: Unlike many of the line’s other ships, the Spirit-class vessels have a sleek design with a smart flow, unimpeded by a second dining room midship. The two-story Normandie Restaurant is large enough to accommodate all guests in three dinnertime options: early, late, and anytime you feel like going.

Who It's Best For

Families, Couples, and Singles: Carnival Pride is bursting with food and entertainment options. From kids programs to 21 and over dance clubs to family activities like Hasbro, the Game Show, this ship is sure to please a variety of age groups.

Don't Say We Didn't Warn You

Artwork May Be Questionable: You may find some of the Renaissance artwork around the ship a bit over-the-top, including a (some might say tacky) replica of Michelangelo’s “David” sculpture center stage in David’s Steakhouse.
