S.S. Antoinette

The first of Uniworld's Super Ships, S.S. Antoinette entered the fleet in 2011, with 64 staterooms, eight suites, and one Royal Suite. With luxe decor worthy of a certain French queen, the 154-passenger ship features open-air balconies on top category cabins, and amenities like towel warmers, robes, and plush Savoir of England beds. The details throughout are ornate, from the window treatments to the reception area's Baccarat chandelier that once hung in New York's Tavern on the Green.
What We Love
All-Inclusive Pricing: Airport transfers, beverages (aside from some top-shelf brands), Wi-Fi, gratuities, and shore excursions are all part of your cruise price.
Big-Ship Features: Though they are smaller than those you would find on a mega ship, S.S. Antoinette has a pool, spa, fitness room, and even a cinema on board.
Best Known For
Intimate Shore-Excursion Groups: The ship uses enough guides so that groups are small, and also sorted out by activity level, so you never feel like you're part of a herd. What's more, there is almost always a choice of excursions at each port.
Impeccable Service: The ship's staff will rarely say no, and they make a real effort to learn passengers' preferences. You can also take it up a notch by booking a suite serviced by butlers trained by a consultant to Buckingham Palace.

Who It's Best For
Couples: Antoinette's intimate atmosphere could put you in the mood for romance.
Don't Say We Didn't Warn You
Not for Minimalists: The Louis-style furnishings, toile-filled staterooms, and leopard-spotted bar meld into a style that appeals to a certain traveler, and are a far cry from more streamlined decor on other lines.
