Seven Seas Navigator Review

Our Ship Review
Deal Expert / Travel Blogger

Regent Seven Seas Cruises is known for offering some of the most spacious and well-appointed suites at sea, and the all-inclusive 496-passenger Seven Seas Navigator is no exception. Even the lowest category suite on this ship, the cruise line’s smallest and oldest (completely refurbished in 2019), comes with a walk-in closet and marble bathroom with a full-size tub. When you're not in your stateroom or exploring ashore, you'll enjoy onboard activities that range from indulging in a massage or facial in the Serene Spa & Wellness to testing your luck in the casino. And with three lounges, nightly musical performances, and multiple restaurants, Seven Seas Navigator becomes an intimate and elegant venue for relaxing and engaging with your fellow guests.

What We Love

Serene Spa & Wellness: This tranquil space, while more compact in size than the spas on newer Regent ships such as Seven Seas Splendor and Seven Seas Grandeur, offers an extensive selection of facials, massages, body treatments, and beauty enhancements inspired by many of the global destinations Regent ships visit.

24-Hour Room Service: If you want to skip the restaurants altogether and “nest” in the comfort of your expansive suite, you can order three meals a day from extensive menus.

Best Known For

All-Inclusive Rates Cover Shore Excursions: Activities on land can add up while you're cruising, but this line includes them. The options range from guided walking tours around historic towns to a submarine adventure in Barbados.

Restaurant Options: When you’re craving something delicious, simply head to buffet-style La Veranda or the main dining room, Compass Rose, both of which serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can also dine outside at La Veranda (which becomes Italian restaurant Sette Mari for dinner) or spend the evening at specialty restaurant Prime 7, a steakhouse that is easily the best dining venue onboard. Our advice: Order the porterhouse, which is carved tableside.

Who It's Best For

Sophisticated Adults: This is a ship for travelers who aren't looking for a hot party scene that stretches late into the night. As for kids, unless you're cruising during the summer or holidays, you won't find specific activities tailored to younger cruisers. However, during peak family travel times, Club Mariner programs are available on select sailings for children ages 5 to 17.

Don't Say We Didn't Warn You

Activities & Entertainment Are Limited: If trivia and card games, bocce ball, lectures, and afternoon tea are your favorite ways to pass the time, Seven Seas Navigator offers them all. Things liven up a bit at night with cabaret-style shows and karaoke, but you won’t close the night out with a DJ dance party on this low-key and sophisticated ship.
