Whether it’s apartments or hotel rooms, real estate in the Big Apple costs a mint. Taxis, Broadway shows, and dining out aren't cheap, either. While lots of cruises begin or end in Manhattan or Brooklyn (leaving you little time to explore), a few sail between ports from Florida to Quebec City — visiting New York City as a port of call, which gives you a full day to be a tourist.
